As many of you know, we rent out holiday homes. What not everyone knows is how much work goes on behind the scenes. Usually it is smaller renovation projects and maintenance that we do ourselves – but this time we really went all in. So we wanted to show you what a complete renovation of our own private home looks like. Even though this is where we live, we sometimes rent it out while we are on holiday ourselves.
The renovation started in August 2024 and was completed in February 2025.
Villa Bjørge in brief: built in 2006 · 250 m² · 4 bedrooms. The villa has many lovely features, such as an outdoor stone fireplace, a hot tub, large terraces and wonderful views – and the sea is only 30 metres away. Read more about the villa.
